The Faltas Lab is pleased to welcome Dawit Jowhar who will be starting as a postdoctoral fellow in 2018. He will be co-mentored by Dr. Olivier Elemento. Dawit is a physician-scientist who earned a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Vanderbilt University and an M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College. He was a General Surgery resident at Northwell Health. He was previously awarded the Ruth L. Kirschstein predoctoral fellowship to study the mechanisms that play a role in
the migration of eukaryotic cells in a chemical gradient. He was recently awarded the NIH T32 postdoctoral research fellowship to support his research.
